I'm a recent grad of illustration and biology with some animation mixed in there. I'd love to be in the animation industry one day, but we'll see what happens.

Sorry I haven't been posting lately - I've been doing a lot of drawing, but nothing worth posting. I've done a couple of drawings of my pets, but I'm not sure those are the most interesting to post. I've also been doing a lot of master copies from my Art of Tangled book (I highly recommend it if you can get your hands on it), but again, not interesting to look at. However, I do owe a Secret Santa gift, so hopefully you'll see that soon enough. I'll also be posting the last gift from this journal. I'm tentatively closing it, but that doesn't mean I won't make exceptions if I get something interesting.

I'm pleased though, I feel like I've been improving. I've been learning a lot of gesture, structure, and design just from copying the masters. They're so good! D: I've still got such a long way to go. It's inspiring and intimidating.

I'm still not sure how I feel about this site. On the one hand, it's a lot better than DA or any of the alternatives, but on the other hand, I'm just not sure how I feel about online galleries and such. I guess I shouldn't be so down on it just yet, but I think I just need to figure out how to be more sociable on sites like this.
